Travis Alan Pastrana, born October 8, 1983, is an American professional athlete renowned for his accomplishments across multiple disciplines including freestyle motocross, rally racing, NASCAR, and stunt performance. He gained prominence in the early 2000s as a multi-time X Games gold medalist and has achieved several notable milestones in freestyle motocross, such as being the first competitor to land a double backflip in competition in 2006. Prior to his freestyle career, Pastrana was a successful motorcycle racer, securing titles in the AMA Motocross and Supercross 125cc divisions in 2000 and 2001. His achievements extend beyond motorcycle racing, with him being a four-time Rally America champion and competing in Global RallyCross. He has also participated in NASCAR events, including the Nationwide Series and Truck Series, and in 2022, he became a world champion in the Class 1 World Powerboat Championship alongside British offshore powerboat racer Steve Curtis.
