Thomas Robert Waterhouse, born on 11 June 1982, is an Australian businessman with a background rooted in the racing industry through the Waterhouse family dynasty. He serves as the Chief Investment Officer of Waterhouse VC and is a director of TomWaterhouse.com. Additionally, he co-founded the investment firm ListedReserve.com. Waterhouse is the fourth generation in his family to be involved in horse racing; his grandfathers contributed significantly to the sport. William Bill Waterhouse, one of his grandfathers, was known as the world's biggest bookmaker in the 1960s and 1970s. His other grandfather, the late trainer Tommy J. Smith, trained 279 Group One winners, including two winners of the Melbourne Cup.
