About Tom Horne
Thomas Charles Horne, born on March 28, 1945, is an American politician, attorney, businessman, and activist. He has served as the Arizona Superintendent of Public Instruction, first from 2003 to 2011 and again beginning in 2023, having been elected to the office in the 2022 election. Horne is a member of the Republican Party. He also served as Attorney General of Arizona from 2011 to 2015. During his political career, Horne ran for reelection as Attorney General but was defeated by Mark Brnovich in the 2014 Republican primary. His career encompasses various roles in public service and law, and he has been involved in activism throughout his time in politics.
