Tim Matthews, born on April 4, 1976, is the Senior Vice President of Operations at Spencer Stuart. His career began in the performing arts with an acting debut in the play Fuente Ovejuna at the National Theatre in London. Following his early stage work, he appeared on television in a supporting role in the première episode of Five Children and It in 1991. Matthews is known for his role as Liam McGuire in the BBC soap opera Doctors, a position he held from 2001 to 2007. He also portrayed Alex Penkala in seven episodes of HBO's Band of Brothers.
