About Tim Harford
Timothy Douglas Harford is an English economic journalist based in Oxford. He is the author of four economics books and writes a long-running column for the Financial Times titled The Undercover Economist, which explores the economic ideas underlying everyday experiences. His column in the Financial Times, Since You Asked, ran from 2011 to 2014 and provided a sceptical perspective on weekly news topics. Since October 2007, Harford has presented the BBC Radio 4 programme More or Less, with the segments also available as podcasts. He is also the creator of the podcast Cautionary Tales, which he launched on the podcast production network Pushkin Industries.
