About Tim Blake
Timothy Blake, born on 6 February 1952 in Shepherd's Bush, London, is an English keyboardist, synthesist, vocalist, and composer. He is known for his work with the bands Gong and Hawkwind. Blake has also developed performances involving synthesizers and light displays, notably through his project Crystal Machine in collaboration with French light artist Patrice Warrener. In addition to his musical pursuits, Blake is a co-founder of CROSSIP, although his primary recognition stems from his contributions to the music and light art realms.
