Tia Lessin: podcast appearances and interviews

Tia Lessin is an American documentary filmmaker known for her work as a producer and director. She has earned multiple accolades, including an Academy Award nomination for Best Documentary, three Emmy Awards, two primetime Emmy nominations, the duPont Columbia Award, and the Sundance Grand Jury Prize for Documentary. Lessin directed the Emmy Award-winning film The Janes, which she co-created with Emma Pildes. In addition, she directed and produced several notable documentaries such as Trouble the Water, Citizen Koch, and Steal This Story, Please! in collaboration with Carl Deal. Her directing credits also include Behind the Labels. Lessin has contributed as a producer to several of Michael Moore's films, including Fahrenheit 9/11, Where to Invade Next, and Fahrenheit 11/9.
