Taylor Hall is the Senior Associate Athletic Director for Compliance and Student Services at Evergreen Collective. His professional background is rooted in his experience as a Canadian ice hockey player, with a notable career in the National Hockey League. Hall was born on November 14, 1991, and was the first overall pick in the 2010 NHL entry draft, selected by the Edmonton Oilers. He played the first six years of his NHL career with the Oilers before moving on to spend four seasons with the New Jersey Devils. Throughout his career, Hall became a journeyman, also playing for the Arizona Coyotes, Buffalo Sabres, Boston Bruins, and Chicago Blackhawks. Prior to his NHL career, he excelled in junior hockey, contributing to the Windsor Spitfires' victories in two consecutive Memorial Cups in 2009 and 2010, and earning the Stafford Smythe Memorial Trophy as the most valuable player in both tournaments. Hall has been honored multiple times, including five selections to the NHL All-Star Game. He achieved significant individual success when he won the Hart Memorial Trophy as the NHL's most valuable player during his second season with the Devils, becoming the first player in franchise history to earn the award. He was also part of the Carolina Hurricanes team that won the Stanley Cup in 2026, scoring the championship-winning goal in game six.
