Tauren Wells: podcast appearances and interviews

Tauren Gabriel Wells, born on April 7, 1986, is an American singer-songwriter and pastor originating from Houston, Texas. He gained recognition as the frontman of the Christian band Royal Tailor before disbanding the group in 2015. Following his departure from the band, Wells released the Undefeated EP in 2016 and his first studio album, Hills and Valleys, in June 2017. The album and its lead single received Grammy nominations, and the song Known topped the Billboard Christian Airplay chart, earning a nomination for Top Christian Song at the 2019 Billboard Music Awards. In January 2020, Wells released his second studio album, Citizen of Heaven, which included the single Famous For (I Believe), his third Christian Airplay No. 1, and both the album and the song received Grammy nominations in 2021. His third album, Joy in the Morning, was released in June 2022, followed by the Take It All Back EP in 2023. In addition to his music career, Wells is also a pastor and, in 2024, became a lead pastor at a church in Austin, Texas, established by himself and his wife Lorna.
