Edward T. Tad Stones, born on May 28, 1952, is an American animator, storyboard artist, screenwriter, producer, and director. He is primarily recognized for his extensive work with The Walt Disney Company, where he was employed from 1974 to 2003. During his tenure at Disney, Stones created, wrote, and produced the animated series Darkwing Duck. He also contributed as a producer to several other notable projects including Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers, Adventures of the Gummi Bears, Aladdin, Hercules, and Buzz Lightyear of Star Command.
