Susan Schneider is an American philosopher and artificial intelligence expert. She is a philosophy professor at Florida Atlantic University and the founding director of the Center for the Future of AI, Mind, & Society. She also holds the William F. Dietrich Distinguished Professorship at Florida Atlantic University. In addition to her role at the university, Schneider is Co-Principal Investigator at the Machine Perception and Cognitive Robotics Laboratory within the Center for Complex Systems and Brain Sciences. Her work encompasses the study of artificial intelligence, cognition, and their implications for society.
