Suella Braverman: podcast appearances and interviews

Sue-Ellen Cassiana Braverman, born on April 3, 1980, is a British politician and barrister affiliated with the Reform party. She has served as the Member of Parliament for Fareham and Waterlooville since 2015, originally representing the Conservative Party before defecting to Reform UK in January 2026. Braverman has held several significant government positions, including serving as Home Secretary, first from September to October 2022 and again from October to November 2023. She was also the Attorney General for England and Wales and Advocate General for Northern Ireland, appointments made during Boris Johnson's tenure as Prime Minister. Braverman was involved in the Brexit process, serving as parliamentary under-secretary of state for exiting the European Union following Theresa May’s cabinet reshuffle in January 2018. She resigned from this role in November 2018 to protest against the draft Brexit withdrawal agreement. During Boris Johnson’s government, she was appointed Attorney General in 2020 and served until March 2021, with a subsequent reappointment in September 2021. Braverman ran in the Conservative Party leadership election in 2022 following Johnson's resignation but was eliminated after the second round. She supported Liz Truss for leader and was appointed Home Secretary when Truss became Prime Minister. Her tenure included a resignation in October 2022 over alleged breaches of the Ministerial Code, followed by reinstatement after Rishi Sunak became Prime Minister. She was dismissed from her role in November 2023.
