Stuart Mitchell: podcast appearances and interviews

Stuart Mitchell was a Scottish individual known for his role as Head of Revenue. Born in Edinburgh on December 21, 1965, he was also recognized for his achievements as a pianist and composer. He gained prominence through his composition, the Seven Wonders Suite, released in 2001. This major work has been recorded by The Prague Symphony Orchestra conducted by Mario Klemens and performed in Prague at The Dvorak Hall in 2005. The suite's popularity led to its inclusion in The Classic FM Hall of Fame since 2005, where it has been regularly requested by listeners. Mitchell's work often intersected with themes related to historical and genetic mysteries; in 2005, he and his family received media attention from Reuters, ITN, BBC, CNN, and Fox News for claiming to have deciphered a musical code carved into the ceiling of Rosslyn Chapel. He continued to explore innovative musical concepts such as DNA Variations, a series based on ancestral DNA sequences, and the orchestrated suite Fly, based on mitochondrial DNA of birds and winged beings, released in 2016. The Seven Wonders Suite ranked 181 in the Classic FM Hall of Fame 2017 and advanced to the 82nd position in 2023. Stuart Mitchell passed away from lung cancer in August 2018 at the age of 52.
