Steve Spiro: podcast appearances and interviews

Steve Spiro is a British musician known as The Master Connector. He began his musical career as a record producer and remixer, collaborating with artists such as the Pet Shop Boys, Talk Talk, The Farm, and Imagination. Spiro subsequently teamed up with Paul Wickens, Paul McCartney's keyboard player, and together they created the BBC theme tune for the Atlanta Olympics in 1996. This composition was picked up by EMI and became a UK hit. In addition, Spiro and Wickens scored the music for the clay-motion feature Hamilton Mattress, produced by the makers of Wallace and Gromit. Spiro has also written music for various high-profile television adverts and programs including Sex and the City and Six Feet Under. In 2011, he released an album titled Frequent Traveller, which features thirteen tracks, twelve of them named after railway stations on the Victoria to East Grinstead railway line in South London.
