Steve Hobbs: podcast appearances and interviews

Steven Ryuma Hobbs, born on February 12, 1970, is an American military officer and politician who has served as the 16th Secretary of State of Washington since 2021. A member of the Democratic Party, Hobbs previously represented the 44th district in the Washington State Senate from 2007 to 2021. His appointment to the position of Secretary of State came when Governor Jay Inslee named him to succeed Kim Wyman, who was departing from the role. Hobbs's appointment marked a historic milestone in the state, as he became the first Democrat to hold the office since Victor Aloysius Meyers left in 1965.
