Steve French: podcast appearances and interviews

Steve French was an American baritone and the owner and emcee of the Kingdom Heirs. Born in Mascot, Tennessee, he was involved in musical performances from an early age, initially performing with his brother Kreis in church settings. French traveled with regional groups such as the Crystal River Boys and the King's Servants before joining the Kingdom Heirs in 1982. He was associated with the group for many years and contributed to its success as a performer and leader. In 2002, he and his brother faced the challenge of replacing three key group members who had resigned simultaneously; they successfully maintained the group's popularity during this transition. Beyond his work with the Kingdom Heirs, French served on the board of directors for the National Quartet Convention, reflecting his active engagement in the broader gospel music community. He passed away in 2016. French was known for his contributions to gospel and quartet music, as well as his leadership within the group.
