Steve Burns: podcast appearances and interviews

Steve Burns is an American actor, musician, and television host. He is best known for portraying a fictionalized version of himself as the host of the children's television series Blue's Clues from 1996 until 2002. During his tenure on the show, he received a Daytime Emmy nomination in 2001. After leaving Blue's Clues, Burns dedicated himself to his music career. He released solo albums including Songs for Dustmites in 2003 and Deep Sea Recovery Efforts in 2009. He also formed the children's music band STEVENSTEVEN with Steven Drozd, and the group released the album Foreverywhere in 2017. In 2019, Burns returned to the Blue's Clues franchise to reprise his role as a recurring character and the cousin of the new host, Josh Dela Cruz, on the reboot series Blue's Clues & You!. He contributed as a writer and director for several episodes of the reboot until its cancellation in 2024. Beyond his work in television and music, Burns has also done extensive voice-over work, including for advertising campaigns such as the Snickers satisfies campaign. His diverse career spans acting, music, and content creation within children's entertainment and beyond.
