Stephen Emmer: podcast appearances and interviews

Stephen Emmer is a Dutch composer, arranger, producer, sound designer, and musician born in Amsterdam on January 28, 1958. He is recognized primarily for his work composing music for Dutch television and film. Emmer has released four solo albums, each exploring different themes or concepts. His 1982 album Vogue Estate served as a soundtrack for an imaginary film, while his 2007 album Recitement features spoken word poetry and prose. In 2014, he released International Blue, a tribute to pop crooners, and in 2017, he issued Home Ground, a neo-soul album addressing social issues concerning origin. Emmer played an active role in the Dutch Ultra movement of the late 1970s and early 1980s. He was a member of the bands Minny Pops and the Lotus Eaters. Additionally, he co-founded the music magazine Vinyl and contributed to Dutch broadcasting by hosting and producing RadioNome for the VPRO organization.
