Stephen Hartley Dorff Jr. is an American actor born on July 29, 1973. He began his film career as a child, appearing in the cult horror film The Gate in 1987. Dorff first gained prominence through roles such as Peter Philip Kennith Keith, also known as PK, in The Power of One in 1992, and as Stuart Sutcliffe in Backbeat in 1994. He is perhaps best known for portraying Deacon Frost in the 1998 film Blade, which contributed to his mainstream recognition. Throughout his career, Dorff has played a variety of lead roles including the titular character in Cecil B. Demented, directed by John Waters, in 2000, and Johnny Marco in Sofia Coppola's Somewhere in 2010.
