Spencer Smith: podcast appearances and interviews

Spencer James Smith, born on September 2, 1987, is an American talent agent and former musician and songwriter. He is best known as a co-founder and former drummer of the rock band Panic! at the Disco. During his time with the band, he contributed to four studio albums including A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out, Pretty. Odd., Vices & Virtues, and Too Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die! The debut album achieved quadruple platinum status, reached No. 13 on the US Billboard 200, and featured the hit single I Write Sins Not Tragedies, which peaked at No. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100. Smith’s departure from the band was announced on April 2, 2015, with him citing a need to address drug issues. He later transitioned into a career in talent management and is associated with Doctrine Matters. As of February 7, 2018, he works as an official manager and talent finder at DCD2 Records. In addition to his music career, Smith hosts the podcast Self-Funded with Spencer, through which he explores various topics related to entrepreneurship and personal development.
