Simon Cole: podcast appearances and interviews

Simon Andrew Cole, born on 20 February 1958, is the Business Director at the National Registry of Exonerations. He is also known for his role as Chief Executive of UBC Media Group, a position he has held alongside his broadcasting career. Cole co-founded the Unique Broadcasting Company in 1989, which later became part of UBC Media Group after its flotation on the London Stock Exchange in July 2000. His career in radio began as a BBC trainee, and he later moved to Manchester in the early 1980s to become the programme director at Piccadilly Radio. During his time there, he contributed to pioneering the market for national sponsored programmes. Cole is recognized for his contributions to the broadcasting industry and is a Fellow of The Radio Academy.
