Shea Couleé: podcast appearances and interviews

Jaren Kyei Merrell, known professionally as Shea Couleé, is an American drag queen, singer, rapper, actor, and podcaster. Born in Warsaw, Indiana, they began their drag career in 2012 and have since become a prominent figure in the Chicago nightlife scene. Shea Couleé gained international recognition in 2017 after competing on the ninth season of RuPaul's Drag Race, where they finished in the top four. They achieved further acclaim by winning the fifth season of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars in 2020. In 2022, Shea Couleé returned to the all-winners seventh season of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars, once again placing in the top four. Beyond their television appearances, Shea Couleé has engaged in various creative projects, including co-producing, directing, writing, and starring in the web series Lipstick City in 2016. The following year, they released their debut EP, Couleé-D, accompanied by music videos. Shea Couleé has continued to develop their musical career and has participated in numerous performances, including international tours such as Werq the World, Haters Roast, and A Drag Queen Christmas.
