Sharyl Attkisson: podcast appearances and interviews

Sharyl Attkisson, born on January 26, 1961, is an American investigative journalist and television correspondent. She hosts the Sinclair Broadcast Group television show Full Measure with Sharyl Attkisson. Throughout her career, she has received recognition for her work, including five Emmy Awards and an Edward R. Murrow Award from the Radio Television Digital News Association. Attkisson previously served as an investigative correspondent in the Washington bureau for CBS News and was a substitute anchor for the CBS Evening News. After a 21-year tenure with CBS News, she resigned in 2014. Following her departure, she authored the book Stonewalled, which alleges that CBS News did not sufficiently cover certain controversies surrounding Barack Obama, such as the 2012 Benghazi attack. Attkisson has also contributed to The Daily Signal, a news feed associated with The Heritage Foundation.
