Shahar Botzer is the co-founder and managing partner of Good Company, a purpose-driven venture capital fund. He has previously served as managing partner of the impact investing fund 2B-Community and as chair of the Issta Lines Group. In addition to his roles in the business sector, Botzer has contributed to various organizations; he was the CEO of Shaham – National Actors' Association, deputy chair of the National Union of Israeli Students, and chair of the Student Union of Tel Aviv University. Born on July 2, 1982, with muscular dystrophy, Botzer navigates the world using a wheelchair. He is known for proposing the Botzer Bill, which marked a significant advancement for the rights of people with disabilities and accessibility in Israel. Notably, he was the first person with a congenital disability in Israel to be elected in a direct election to lead a public body not connected to disability rights. His efforts have demonstrated a commitment to social impact and engagement in both the corporate and public sectors.
