He gained widespread recognition for his breakout role as Steve Stifler in the American Pie film series, which spanned from 1999 to 2012. Scott has also starred in leading roles in films such as Goon and its sequel, Goon: Last of the Enforcers, as well as other notable productions including Dude, Where's My Car? Road Trip, Final Destination, Evolution, The Rundown, The Dukes of Hazzard, Mr. Woodcock, Role Models, and The Wrath of Becky. Additionally, he contributed a supporting voice role as Crash in the Ice Age film series from 2006 to 2016.
