William Leonard Sean McCann (September 24, 1935 – June 13, 2019) was a Canadian actor with a career spanning over 55 years. He was recognized for his performances in a wide range of roles across film, television, and theatre. McCann is perhaps best known for his role as Lt. Jim Hogan in the 1985 CTV television drama series Night Heat, which he portrayed from 1985 to 1989. He also appeared in the comedy film Tommy Boy as Frank Rittenhauer and played the Judge in the 2002 production Chicago. Throughout his career, McCann appeared in over 150 movies, television programs, and plays, demonstrating a versatile and sustained presence in the entertainment industry. He was the recipient of the Earle Grey Award for lifetime achievement in television.
