Scott Jennings: podcast appearances and interviews

Scott Jennings, born on October 26, 1977, is an American conservative political strategist, commentator, and writer. He has had a significant career in political advising, including serving as a special assistant to the president and deputy director of political affairs during the George W. Bush administration in February 2006. Prior to this, Jennings was involved in Bush's presidential campaigns, serving as a staff member of the Kentucky campaign in 2000 and as the executive director of Bush's 2004 re-election campaign in New Mexico. He is often cited as an adviser to Senator Mitch McConnell and participated in McConnell's campaign efforts for the U.S. Senate in 2002, 2008, and 2014. Jennings is also a founding partner of RunSwitch Public Relations, which is recognized as Kentucky's largest public relations firm. In addition to his consulting work, Jennings has been a columnist, writing regularly for the Louisville Courier-Journal beginning in 2013, with some of his columns being republished by USA Today. His media involvement expanded when he was signed as an on-air contributor by CNN in 2017 and later joined the Los Angeles Times as a columnist in 2019. Before his career in politics and media, Jennings was a owner of a construction company, transitioning into consulting and public relations roles.
