Scott Allan: podcast appearances and interviews

Scott Allan, born on 28 November 1991, is a Scottish former professional footballer and a coach with Scottish League One club East Kilbride. During his playing career, Allan was a midfielder who began his professional journey with Dundee United in Scotland. He also played for Forfar Athletic on loan before transferring to English Premier League club West Bromwich Albion in 2012. Despite joining West Brom, he did not feature in the first team and subsequently spent time on loan at various clubs including Portsmouth, Milton Keynes Dons, and Birmingham City. Following his release in 2014, Allan returned to Scottish football with Hibernian and later signed with Celtic, where he spent four years and had loan spells at Rotherham United, Dundee, and Hibernian. After departing Celtic, he rejoined Hibernian and later played for Arbroath while also going on loan to Larne, with whom he won the NIFL Premiership. In his final playing seasons, Allan served as a player-coach at Kelty Hearts before retiring in summer 2025. Over his career, he also represented Scotland at youth levels, including under-17 and under-21 selections. Since retiring from professional play, Allan has moved into coaching, applying his experience and knowledge gained over many years in the sport.
