Sandy Pollack: podcast appearances and interviews

Sandy Pollack was an American Communist activist known for her involvement in the founding of the Committee in Solidarity with the People of El Salvador. Her activism led to two controversial FBI investigations; one focused on potential violations of the Foreign Agents Registration Act and questioned her contacts with Farid Handal, brother of Salvadoran Communist leader Shafik. The other investigation concerned alleged support of terrorist activities by the Frente Farabundo Martí para la Liberación Nacional and the Frente Democrático Revolucionario under the pretext of international solidarity; however, this case was dropped due to lack of evidence. Pollack was also an author of the book 'Don't Leave a Mess' and was affiliated with Trimaran Advisory Group. She passed away in 1985 in a plane crash prior to the resolution of the second investigation.
