Sahar Hashemi: podcast appearances and interviews

Sahar Hashemi, born in 1967, is a British businesswoman recognized for co-founding Coffee Republic. She has also established the confectionery brand Skinny Candy. Hashemi has been involved in shaping government policy towards growing small and medium-sized enterprises by co-chairing the UK government Scale Up Taskforce. She serves on the board of the Scale Up Institute and contributes to the advisory board of the ECB HUNDRED Cricket Competition. In addition, she is affiliated with Change Please Coffee, a social enterprise that trains and employs homeless individuals to operate coffee bars. In 2022, Hashemi launched Buy Women Built, a campaign aimed at increasing consumer awareness of brands built by women in the UK. She also served as a judge at the 2020 Entrepreneur of the Year Awards.
