Ruby Rose Langenheim is an Australian actress, television presenter, and model born on 20 March 1986. She gained recognition for her role in the third season of the Netflix series Orange Is the New Black, which aired from 2015 to 2016. Rose is also known for portraying Kate Kane and Batwoman in the Arrowverse television franchise, including the first season of the series Batwoman in 2019–2020. As a television presenter, she hosted MTV Australia from 2007 to 2011 and co-hosted shows such as Australia's Next Top Model in 2009 and The Project from 2009 to 2011. Rose has also appeared in numerous high-profile modeling campaigns, including work with Maybelline New York in Australia.
