Roz Chast: podcast appearances and interviews

Roz Chast, born on November 26, 1954, is an American cartoonist known for her work as a staff cartoonist at The New Yorker. Since commencing her tenure in 1978, she has published over 1000 cartoons in the magazine. Her work has also appeared in Scientific American and the Harvard Business Review. Chast has received recognition for her contributions to cartooning, including being named by ComicsAlliance as one of twelve women cartoonists deserving of lifetime achievement honors. She was elected to the American Philosophical Society in 2010 and received the Alumni Award for Artistic Achievement from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2017. In 2024, Chast was awarded the National Humanities Medal by President Joe Biden for her impact on American culture and the arts.
