Robert Durst: podcast appearances and interviews

Robert Alan Durst was an American individual known for his involvement in high-profile criminal cases and his background as a real estate heir. He was the eldest son of Seymour Durst, a notable real estate magnate in New York City. Durst attracted public attention through investigations related to several crimes, including the 1982 disappearance of his first wife, Kathleen McCormack; the 2000 murder of his longstanding friend Susan Berman; and the 2001 killing of his neighbor Morris Black. He was acquitted of the murder of Morris Black in 2003. However, his participation in the 2015 documentary series The Jinx led to further legal action, resulting in his being charged with Berman's murder. Durst was convicted of that crime in 2021 and sentenced to life imprisonment without parole. He was also charged with the murder of McCormack shortly after his sentencing, but died in 2022 before a trial could commence. His conviction for Berman's murder was vacated upon his death due to the pending status of his appeal.
