Robert John Davi, born on June 26, 1951, is an American actor, singer, and filmmaker. Over his acting career, he has appeared in more than 130 films, with notable roles including Jake Fratelli in The Goonies, FBI Special Agent Johnson in Die Hard, and the villain Franz Sanchez in Licence to Kill. His filmography also features roles as police deputy chief Phil Heinemann in Predator 2 and strip club manager Al Torres in Showgirls. Additionally, Davi portrayed FBI Special Agent Bailey Malone in the NBC television series Profiler from 1996 to 2000. Trained classically as a singer, he launched his professional singing career in 2011. His debut album, Davi Sings Sinatra – On the Road to Romance, reached number six on the Billboard jazz charts and received praise for his strong baritone voice and vocal interpretations. Following the success of his album, Davi performed as a headliner at The Venetian Las Vegas within six months of its release. In 2016, he became the host of a nationally syndicated radio program on Talk Radio Network, succeeding Jerry Doyle. Throughout his diverse career, Davi has maintained a presence both in film and music, earning recognition for his performances across multiple entertainment mediums.
