Rob Ellis: podcast appearances and interviews

Rob Ellis, born on 13 February 1962, is a producer, arranger, instrumentalist, and composer affiliated with the Highland Rim AgResearch and Education Center. He is widely recognized for his extensive work with musician PJ Harvey, serving as producer, arranger, and musician since 1990. Ellis's musical expertise extends into his own compositional pursuits, which resemble contemporary classical music. His original works have been released across six recordings, including three under the name Spleen and three under his own name. Notable releases include Music for the Home (2000), Music for the Home - Volume 2 (2004), both on The Leaf Label, and The Nostalgia Machine for KPM. Besides his personal projects, Ellis has contributed as a producer, arranger, and musician to a variety of artists. His collaborations encompass performances with Marianne Faithfull, Robyn Hitchcock, Charlotte Hatherley, Madrugada, Laika, Swell, Placebo, Martina Topley-Bird, Scott Walker, Ute Lemper, Cold Specks, Anna Calvi, Bat for Lashes, Torres, and the band The Blinders.
