Richard Wright: podcast appearances and interviews

Richard Nathaniel Wright (1908–1960) was an American author known for his novels, short stories, poems, and non-fiction works. His literature predominantly explores racial themes, focusing on the experiences of African Americans during the late 19th to mid 20th centuries, addressing issues such as discrimination and violence. Among his most notable works are the novella collection Uncle Tom's Children, published in 1938, the novel Native Son, released in 1940, and the memoir Black Boy, published in 1945. Wright's writings are considered to have played a role in influencing race relations in the United States during the mid-20th century. He was affiliated with the University of Missouri-St. Louis at the time of his involvement in the project.
