Richard Stanley: podcast appearances and interviews

Richard Stanley is a South African filmmaker known for his work in the horror genre. He began his career by creating short films and music videos before directing feature films such as Hardware in 1990 and Dust Devil in 1992. Stanley was originally involved in the production of The Island of Dr. Moreau in 1996 but was dismissed early in filming due to creative differences. His experience on that project was documented in the 2014 film Lost Soul: The Doomed Journey of Richard Stanley's Island of Dr. Moreau. After a hiatus of more than twenty years, he returned to directing feature films in 2019 with the adaptation of H. P. Lovecraft's story, Color Out of Space.
