Richard Seymour: podcast appearances and interviews

Richard Vershaun Seymour, born October 6, 1979, is an American former professional football player who played as a defensive end in the National Football League. He played college football for the Georgia Bulldogs and was drafted by the New England Patriots sixth overall in the 2001 NFL draft. Throughout his career, Seymour distinguished himself as one of the best defensive linemen in the league, earning seven Pro Bowl selections and being named to five All-Pro teams. He played a key role in the Patriots’ success, being a member of three Super Bowl-winning teams. Seymour's versatility on the field allowed him to be selected for the Pro Bowl as both a 3-4 defensive end and a 4-3 defensive tackle, and he occasionally appeared as a fullback in short yardage and goal line situations. His career was interrupted by a knee injury sustained in October 2005 during a play against the San Diego Chargers. After retiring from football, Seymour transitioned into a career as a professional poker player. His contributions to the sport were recognized with his election into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2022.
