Richard C. Miller is an American clinical psychologist, author, and yoga scholar known for his advocacy of yoga as therapy. He is the founder and executive director of the Integrative Restoration Institute and the iRest Center. Miller is also a co-founder of the International Association of Yoga Therapists and served as the founding editor of its professional journal. He has been involved in several organizations related to yoga and spirituality, including being a founding member and past president of the Institute for Spirituality and Psychology and serving as a senior advisor to the Baumann Institute. Additionally, he was the founding president of the Marin School of Yoga, a nonprofit organization. Miller's work emphasizes the use of Yoga nidra, particularly through the iRest methodology, to aid in rehabilitation, including efforts to help soldiers in pain.
