Regina Spektor: podcast appearances and interviews

Regina Ilyinichna Spektor, born on February 18, 1980, is a Soviet-born American singer, songwriter, and pianist. She initially gained recognition in New York City's independent music scenes, particularly within the anti-folk community centered in the East Village. After self-releasing her first three records, Spektor signed with Sire Records in 2004, which led to increased mainstream popularity. Her album Soviet Kitsch was re-released by the label, and her subsequent album Begin to Hope achieved a Gold certification from the RIAA.
