About Ray White
Ray White is a special project coordinator at Troy University. Prior to his current role, he gained recognition as a musician and singer. White was a member of Frank Zappa's touring ensembles, joining the band in late 1976 as a rhythm guitarist and vocalist. During his time with Zappa, he formed a vocal harmony partnership with Ike Willis, which was featured on recordings such as Zappa in New York and You Are What You Is. His vocals are also heard on the DVDs The Torture Never Stops and Does Humor Belong in Music? The latter showcases his vocal harmonies with Willis during the 1984 tour.
