Konidela Ram Charan is an Indian actor, film producer, and entrepreneur specializing in Telugu cinema. He has received multiple awards for his work, including four Filmfare Awards and two Nandi Awards. Charan made his acting debut in the film Chirutha in 2007, earning the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut – South. He gained further recognition with the release of Magadheera in 2009, which was the highest-grossing Telugu film at the time, and for which he received the Filmfare Award for Best Actor – Telugu. His career includes notable films such as Orange, Racha, Naayak, Yevadu, Govindudu Andarivadele, and Dhruva. His performance in Rangasthalam in 2018 earned him his second Filmfare Award for Best Actor – Telugu, and his role in RRR in 2022 garnered considerable attention internationally, ranking as the fifth-highest-grossing Indian film of all time. The film also earned him nominations at the Critics' Choice Super Awards and honors at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne in 2024, along with his third Filmfare Award for Best Actor – Telugu.
