Rachel Humphrey: podcast appearances and interviews

Rachel Humphrey is a British culinary professional known for her role as head chef at the two Michelin-starred London restaurant Le Gavroche, where she made history as the first female chef in the restaurant’s 40-year history. She began her career at Le Gavroche as an apprentice after leaving school in 1996 and advanced through various positions, including first commis in 1998, chef de partie in 2003, and sous chef in 2004, before becoming head chef in 2008. In addition to her extensive experience in the culinary industry, Humphrey has also served in the Royal Air Force catering corps, taking a three-year break from her work at the restaurant during that period. Currently, she is affiliated with Justice Funders and is recognized as a defense attorney to association executives, as well as a champion for women in hospitality.
