Rachel Fairburn: podcast appearances and interviews

Rachel Fairburn is an English comedian born in Harpurhey, Manchester. She attended St Monica's High School and has been working as a comedian since 2008. Fairburn's career includes appearances on the BBC's Funny from the Fringe, Evil Genius with Russell Kane, and Breaking the News on BBC Radio Scotland. She previously worked full-time at the John Rylands Library. In 2014, she co-founded the popular comedy podcast All Killa No Filla with fellow comedian Kiri Pritchard-McLean. The podcast has received significant acclaim, being named one of the top eight true crime podcasts of 2018 by The Independent, the number two Best True Crime Podcast of 2018 by Esquire, and one of the best podcasts of 2018 by The Guardian. Time magazine recognized the podcast as an example of how female comedians discuss their experiences in the #MeToo era. In 2018, Fairburn was highlighted by The Daily Telegraph as one of the best comedians at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
