Frank Porter Stansberry is an American financial publisher and author. He founded Stansberry Research in 1999, a private publishing company based in Baltimore, Maryland. Stansberry is known for his monthly newsletter, Stansberry's Investment Advisory, which covers topics related to investments and investment theory in commodities, real estate, and the stock market. He also created the 2011 online video The End of America, in which he predicted the imminent collapse of the United States. In 2002, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission filed a case against him for securities fraud, and in 2007, a federal judge fined him 1.5 million dollars.
