Pippa Malmgren: podcast appearances and interviews

Karen Philippa Malmgren, born May 21, 1962, is an American economist and technology entrepreneur. She served as Special Assistant to the President of the United States for Economic Policy on the National Economic Council during the administration of George W. Bush. In this role, she contributed to discussions on financial markets and corporate governance and was a member of the U.S. President's Working Group on Financial Markets and the Working Group on Corporate Governance. She earned her PhD in International Relations from the London School of Economics in 1991, where her dissertation focused on United States antidumping and countervailing duty policy. Malmgren has authored several books including Geopolitics for Investors, Signals: How Everyday Signs Help Us Navigate the World's Turbulent Economy, The Leadership Lab, and The Infinite Leader. She is credited with the first use of the term 'shrinkflation.' In 2009, she co-founded Principalis Asset Management, an investment firm. Malmgren is also the founder of HMW Group and is affiliated with H Robotics. Her work often involves analyzing economic recovery timelines in regions such as Asia, Japan, and the United States.
