Phillip Kennedy Johnson: podcast appearances and interviews

Phillip Kennedy Johnson is an American comic book writer recognized for his work with major publishers including DC, Marvel, BOOM! Studios, Dynamite, Archaia, IDW, Aftershock, and Scout Comics. He is best known for his contributions to series such as Superman/Action Comics, Batman and Robin, The Incredible Hulk, Alien, and 007. His writing has earned him industry recognition, including an Eisner Award nomination. Johnson's work on The Incredible Hulk, in particular, has been noteworthy, with him and Nic Klein celebrating the publication of 800 issues of the series in November 2024. Outside of his writing career, Johnson is an Army veteran and musician based in the Washington, D.C. area. He has performed as a trumpet player with ensembles including The U.S. Army Field Band of Washington, D.C., the Glenn Miller Orchestra, the Moscow Ballet, the Dallas Opera, Washington Symphonic Brass, and the Benny Goodman Orchestra.
