Phillip Carter: podcast appearances and interviews

Phillip Carter was a British businessman known for founding Carter & Carter in 1992 after a career in sales and marketing at Imperial Chemical Industries. His roles included serving as the European Business Development Manager of the Paints Division. Carter was recognized for his entrepreneurial achievements and was named Entrepreneur of the Year at the 2007 PLC Awards. He was involved in the business community and had a personal passion for Chelsea Football Club, where he held the position of honorary vice president.

Carter was also a private pilot and owned a helicopter, which he frequently flew, including to attend the UEFA Champions League semi-final at Anfield on 1 May 2007. Tragically, he died in a helicopter crash near Wansford, Peterborough, on 2 May 2007, when the aircraft's wreckage was discovered in woods near Kings Cliffe. The helicopter was piloted by Stephen Holdich and was believed to have experienced pilot disorientation or a possible epileptic seizure, as indicated by an Air Accidents Investigation Branch inquiry. The victims included Carter's son Andrew and his friend Jonathan Waller. His death was a significant loss to the business community and those close to him.
