Phil Hartman: podcast appearances and interviews

Philip Edward Hartman (born Hartmann) was a Canadian-born American comedian, actor, screenwriter, and graphic designer. Born in Brantford, Ontario, he moved to the United States with his family at the age of ten. Hartman earned a degree in graphic arts from California State University, Northridge, and initially worked as a graphic designer, creating album covers for bands such as Poco and America. In 1975, he became a member of the comedy group the Groundlings, where he contributed to developing the character Pee-wee Herman and co-wrote the film Pee-wee's Big Adventure.
