Peter Young: podcast appearances and interviews

Peter Young was a British Army officer and author known for his contributions to military history. During the Second World War, he served with distinction in the British Commandos. After the war, he commanded a regiment of the Arab Legion before returning to England for staff appointments. He retired from the army in 1959 with the rank of brigadier and subsequently became the head of Military History at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. In 1968, following the publication of his book Edgehill 1642, he founded The Sealed Knot, a Civil War historical re-enactment society. As a historian, he established a reputation through his written works and his involvement in promoting military history.
